These large round disk earrings are made of Mother of pearl. The shells have silk screen abstract mosaic prints in metallic jewel tone colors of cranberry, lime, lemon, and black. The designs remind me of drawings that were done many years ago my M.C. Escher.
 
The shell is thick and durable and somewhat weighty to wear, but not heavy. The earrings are made for pierced ears and with the silver metal ear wires, they hang down 2 3/4" or 6.9 cm long. The disks are 2" or 5 cm wide. The backs of the earrings are natural Mother of Pearl shells with no prints. The earrings are new and never worn; pristine perfect condition.
