This charming planter features white swans in love, who mate for life. This very old ceramic planter was made in Japan and while I can't give you the exact date, it was made between 1930-1950. The planter is signed with a very unusual old Japanese stamp of a large bird on a branch. 

The loving pair of swans is repeated on both front and back of the planter. The sides and bottom are adorned with sculpted bamboo leaves. The built in water tray is designed like bamboo stalks. The swans beaks are pink and the wings are outlined in 22kt gold. 

Medium petite in size, the planter is 4" tall x 4 1/4" wide x 3 1/8" front to back. The entire planter is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no chips, cracks, repairs, or signs of wear.
