Made in the 1950s, this rare to find Persian or Burmese lady pin is made of thick and weighty 18kt or higher gold plated metal. Although this lady is not signed, the unique detailed cast and the quality of the gold plate is indicative of figural jewelry that was made by Mazer, Jomaz, Renaid, and Reja.
The lady as delicate facial features, a crown, a large curled feather headdress, and a design of scrolls at the neck line. The gold is old quality gold plate of 18kt gold or higher that will not wear, tarnish, or fade. The gold is highly polished all over yet the recessed areas are satin gold.
The pin is solid, weighty, and very well crafted. The lady is medium in size at 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" wide or 4.4 cm x 3.1 cm. The entire pin is pristine perfect condition with no signs of wear or damage. The gold is microscopically clean and bright with no scratches, dings, or scuffs. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
