Made in the 1960s, this unique engagement ring is designer signed Uncas.

In the 1970s, there weren't CZ's yet and jewelry makers here in the US made low cost engagement rings from hand cut and hand faceted Austrian crystals. Cubic Zirconia is a synthetic or manmade and Austrian crystals are natural stones.
Austrian crystal rings like this were also sold under the name Diamondesque.

These are hand selected crystals for optimum clarity and were brilliant cut just like real diamonds.

This ring simulates the look of real diamonds and the center rosette is a remarkable clear brilliant. The ring is surrounded in frame of smaller brilliants and flanked to each side with brilliants on the shank.

I love the petite cut of this ring and the classic, round, elongated design.
It is very feminine and looks like it cost thousands of dollars.

The ring band is made of silver rhodium metal and is adjustable from a size 6 to a size 8, or possibly 8 1/2. The focal rosette is 7mm and the face of the ring is 3/4" or 19 mm wide.

The ring is in like new pristine microscopically clean condition and has never been worn. There are no imperfections or flaws and no signs of wear anywhere.
All of the crystals are original, present, and super brilliant. There is no silver rhodium wear anywhere and the inside of the band is signed Uncas.

Comes shipped in a new luxury presentation ring box.
