This exceptional coiled snake pin is polished and textured gold metal with translucent metallic copper brown and gloss black enamel. The diamondback patterns are excellent life like representations.The snake is stacked or layered and the craftsmanship is very impressive. The snake is not signed but was certainly made by a modern contemporary jewelry designer, possibly KJL.
 
The pin is medium in size at 1 3/4" tall x 1 1/4" wide or 4.4 cm x 3.1 cm. The entire pin is in pristine like new microscopically clean condition.It is obvious the pin has never been worn and it is perfect and like new, although it was probably made in the 1975-1985 era.
