There was time when all women used to sew and buttons were a big deal. Ladies went shopping and might spend an entire day trying to find just the right fabric, buttons, and sewing needs.I remember because my mother had 3 girls and she made every dress or outfit we ever wore as children and teenagers, until we started wearing blue jeans and tie dye t-shirts!
 
Made in the late 1950s or early 1960s, these earrings are buttons. I doubt they were mass produced and were most likely made by a lady with too many buttons.
 
The earrings are clips which could easily be converted to pierced. The buttons are shimmering pearlescent colors of banana yellow, tangerine orange, leaf green, and navy blue. All have crystals or rhinestones at the center.
 
Petite in size, the buttons are 1" or 25 mm wide, with the navy pair being slightly smaller. All are in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The price you see is for all 4 pairs.
