From the 1950s, this impressive faceted black glass brooch is a large swirl design with a high dome. The brooch is made of rich gold plated metal and at the center bottom is a gold metal cabbage rose with four gold metal chains dangling below. This brooch has large oval, marquise, and chaton cut glass cabs and all are prong set.
 
The craftsmanship and quality of this piece is top designer quality and if you look at the back you will probably assume that this piece was most likely made by Schreiner.
 
The brooch measures 2" tall without the tassels x 2" wide, or 4.7 cm x 4.7 cm. The tassel chains are about 1 3/4" long.
 
The entire pin is in pristine clean perfect condition. All of the glass cabs are perfect with no scratches, scuffs, or chips and there is no gold wear or loss of gold anywhere. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
