Made in the 1930s, these big layered fancy flowers are made of rose gold plated metal. This rose gold plating is exceptional quality and will not tarnish. I've had this pair of clips stored away for decades and they look like new!
 
The flower centers are adorned with a large rose pink crystals with brilliant diamond like hand cut facets. The clip mechanisms have a patent number 1801128 (the 8 is partially cut off) and this patent dates to 1931.
 
Medium large in size, the flowers are 1 1/2" or 38 mm wide. The table cut crystals are 11 mm.Both clips are in spectacular unworn condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no scratches, scuffs, or dings. The crystals have no facet wear, no scratches, and both are sparkling clear and prong set. The clips on the backs are like new as well and in perfect working order.
