I love, love, love this 1970s Atomic Space Age brooch. It is a very uncommon design to find and was not mass produced. 

This atomic or starburst pin is a such a neat piece. It is not designer signed but it is well crafted and artistic. The brooch is three layers of stars and each layer has a different silver metal texture. The contrast is very appealing and creates a nice glistening look. It is made of silver rhodium metal that looks like sterling but will never tarnish or need polishing.

The brooch is not large or ostentatious. It is a medium-large piece at 2" wide. It is in great shape and there is no loss of silver on the front, edges, or back. The brooch is pristine and clean and has the original fine working safety clasp and bar hinge.
