It was not until the 1960s and 1970s that dolphin style jewelry became popular; about the same time Miami Seaquarium was doing Flipper shows.

To me, this large textured gold metal dolphin brooch is very special because it is one of the few really nice designs I've ever seen that depicts two dolphins in love, or twin souls. The dolphins have polished glistening gold metal textured highlights and clear crystal eyes. It can be worn vertical or on an angle and measures 2 1/2" tall x 1 3/8" wide or 64 mm x 35 mm.

The brooch is not signed but it was designer made in the 1960-1970 era. It is not signed because it was probably sold somewhere like Miami Seaquarium. It was most likely made by Monet, Napier, or Trifari. The entire brooch is in pristine like new microscopically clean condition. It has obviously never been worn. There are no imperfections or flaws such as scratches or dings. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.

* This can also be worn as a pendant by adding a vertical gold metal brooch slider by checking the option box.
