These wild vintage clip earrings are abstract splatter art in hand painted enamels. You might not think they are that wild today, but in the 1960s they were!
The base is black, the splatters are white, and the lines are bright green and orange. The earrings are light weight plastic beads and the dangling bead is a large, faceted olive with a gold metal filigree flower bell cap.
In many decades of collecting vintage earrings, I've only ever seen 1 other pair of earrings similar, so the design must have been short lived and not mass produced.
The clips are signed Hong Kong and measure 1 3/4" long x 5/8" wide. The earrings are in pristine like new condition with no wear and the clips have tight snap. I cant be certain if the earrings were made in Hong Kong or if they were imported to the US and used by an artisan jewelry maker in the US.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation earring box.
