Made in the 1960's, this unique butterfly pin has airbrushed in neon peacock enamels. 
 
The tips of the wings are also an uncommon, serrated style. Made of both silver and gold metal, the brooch is weighty and well made. The brooch is not signed but it was designer made in the US. Look at the back and you can see the quality riveted construction. 
 
Medium in size, the butterfly is 1 3/4" tall x 1 7/8" wide or 45 mm x 48 mm. The entire butterfly is in pristine clean excellent like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no signs of wear anywhere on this pin, front or back. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
