This Christmas bell pin is designer signed MYLU and was made in the early 1960s. 
 
This large festive bell brooch is an uncommon old design to find.  Made of silver metal, the large bow has a linear etched satin texture with ball bead accents. The large swinging bell has a satin silver pierced textured and the  bell is covered with pastel Aurora Borealis rhinestones. The bell also has a swinging clapper.
 
The mold style of the brooch is called an openwork design as you can see the individual shapes have cut outs. The purpose of this is to allow the fabric behind the brooch to show through. 
 
Large is size, the brooch is 2 1/8" tall 1 1/4" wide or 53 mm x 34 mm. The entire brooch both front and back is in pristine clean like condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and super sparkling. There is no silver metal wear or loss of silver. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the signed MYLU cartouche.
