Made in the 1960's, this authentic vintage owl necklace is probably the craziest, biggest owl you will ever see! 

This well-crafted all metal Retro Pop-Art owl is made of textured pewter. The body is segmented in 6 large sections. The pewter areas have 3 different textures. The big domed white Lucite eyes are huge! The center section is white enamel and if you wanted to get really crazy, you can repaint the white area any color you want with finger nail polish; like lime green or purple. Personally, I like the owl just the way it is because it will match any color attire. 

This very huge swinging owl is 5 1/2" long x 2 1/2" wide or 140 mm x 64 mm. You can get a better indication of the size by viewing the photo of the owl in my hand. The original silver metal triple oval link textured chain is 21" long or 53 cm. 

The owl and chain are in spectacular like new pristine clean condition with no imperfections, flaws, or signs of wear. The owl is not signed but the chain has a ball bead at the end which was used by many top designers such as Art, BSK, and Coro.
