This spectacular signed West German necklace and earring Parure dates from the 1950s. It is by far one of the most unusual vintage parures I've ever seen! 
 
The necklace is three tiers of Lucite beads. The pink beads are elliptical or squatty in shape with hand cut diamond facets all around the entire exterior. They are made of pink crackle Lucite with a sugar granular texture that looks like glistening ice.
 
I have seen crackle glass and Crackle Lucite from West Germany in other colors of green and white, but I have never seen it in pink as it was not widely made. The long tube beads are light pink Lucite and the necklace has the original beaded extension chains. The matching dangle earrings are clips and both are signed Made in Western Germany as well.
 
The pink beads on the necklace range from 3/8" to 1/2" and 5/8" to 3/4" wide and the beads on the earrings are 1/2" and 5/8" wide. The decorative necklace strands are about 15" long and the necklace can be hooked anywhere between 15 1/2" long and 18 1/2" long. 
 
The necklace is signed Made in Western Germany on the hook. Both necklace and earrings are in pristine condition. Perfectly clean with no signs of wear or other imperfections. The brass clips on the earrings are strong with tight snap and the brass is darkened from age.
