This style of 1950's rhinestone earrings are dearly sought after today as book prices for pieces like these are sharply on the rise. The reason: not many survived! They were made to be disposable types of jewelry! Finding Weiss earrings like this in exceptional condition is uncommon.
The earrings are made of white thermoplastic, molded into convex buttons. The clear chaton rhinestones were glued and inset into the plastic. The earrings are clip backs with the original silver tone clips. The earrings are not signed but they were most likely made by Weiss.
The thermoset white plastic is scratch free, has a nice glossy shine and they are very clean. The little bit of yellow you see on the back of one earring is original old glue. All of the stones are present and original and have brilliant sparkle. The earrings are 1 1/8" wide.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
