This unsigned beauty is a vintage designer brooch from the 1950s. The brooch is a very unique medallion design of superb quality and it is an elegant presentation piece. 

This gold medallion design is made of rich glistening gold metal in a rope texture. The interior is "hat" shaped with a large faceted emerald crystal at the focal point. The perimeter of the "hat" and the perimeter of the brooch is adorned with emerald rhinestone chatons, all prong set. All of the rhinestones have incredible brilliance as are old Austrian crystals with a high lead content. If you look at the back of the brooch you can see the fine quality gold soldered construction. 

Medium in size, the brooch is 1 3/4" or 44 mm wide. The focal emerald crystal is 11 mm. The entire brooch is in pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. There is no gold wear or loss of gold. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and in flawless sparkling condition. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
