Made in the early 1950s, this is a very uncommon, signed Coro necklace. It is not flowers or leaves but rather an Art Deco style. Technically, the Art Deco period ended around 1935 but many US jewelry designers made Art Deco styles in the early 1950s, and later years.

If you are familiar with old Coro necklaces then you know that most of their designs were flowers and leaves and they made very few pure Art Deco designs. This necklace is signed Coro in script without copyright, or pre-1955.

The necklace is silver rhodium metal and the medallion looks like twin cornucopias. They are spiral open work designs joined by a pair of interlocking rings. The chain and the medallion are set with light Aqua blue rhinestones; all chatons except for a pair of baguettes next to the rings and a heart dangling crystal.

The necklace can be hooked up to 16 1/2" or 42cm long. The medallion is medium in size at 2 1/2" or 64 cm long. * Check the option box if you need the necklace to be a little bit longer. You can add a 4" silver metal custom made extender that will allow the necklace to be hooked up to 20 1/2" long.

The entire necklace is in fabulous pristine clean condition for age. The silver rhodium is bright and clean with no signs of wear. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkle nicely.

Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new luxury presentation necklace box.
