This is a very old poodle pin and a great collectors piece. It is signed BSK and was made in the 1950s; one of the earliest pins made by BSK. 
 
The poodle is made of thick and weighty silver pot metal and is finished in matt black enamel. It is embellished with brilliant clear rhinestone chatons. The rhinestones really sparkle because they are large, or about 4 mm each. The legs, tail, and head have the poodle "pom-pom" look as the rhinestones are set on puffed or domed parts of the pot metal. The poodle also has red rhinestone eyes and a clear rhinestone collar. 
 
The poodle is medium large in size at 1 1/2" tall x 2" wide or 3.8 cm x 5 cm.
 
The pin is in very fine condition for age with only light signs of enamel wear on the back and on the toes from handling. The pin is very clean and has been well cared for. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and super sparkling. The back has the original fine working bar, hinge, and safety clasp. The back is signed ©BSK.
