In my many decades of collecting antique and vintage cufflinks the biggest lesson to learn is in what makes cufflinks valuable and increase in value? Typically, it is not gold, silver, or gemstones - but the age, designer, and condition.

There are no cufflink designers in the US anymore, at least not that Im aware of. Maybe some very small production artists, but certainly not anything like the 1920-1970 eras.

These admirable horse cufflinks were made in the 1940s and are designer signed Anson. The cufflinks are made of silver rhodium metal however the fronts are acid etched to a satin matte finish. The pair is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or wear. Both cufflinks are signed Anson.

Comes gift wrapped in a new luxury presentation cufflink box as pictured.

* Olof Anderson was a Swedish immigrant to America, who founded the Anderson Tool & Die Company in 1938, making items for jewellery manufacturers.  During WWII the machinery was adapted to milling machines and entered into war production work.  In 1945 Anderson formed Anson Incorporated and began mens jewellery production.  The company was purchased by the C&J Jewelry Group in 1993.
