These sensational 1950's shell cluster earrings look very Haskell like, but they were most likely made in Japan. They incorporate small segments of Mother of Pearl that has been dyed a lovely rose color. The shell segments are not tight clusters as they do have a little swing to them. This rose color is very unusual in Mother of Pearl jewelry.
The earrings are expertly made with all brass components and each shell section is hand wired to gold filigree backs. The earrings are lever style clips and each cluster measures 1 1/2" wide. The earrings are in pristine condition with no loss of bright yellow gold, no verdigris on the brass, and no lack of shine to the Mother of Pearl. Both earrings are exceptionally clean. The earrings are not signed.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation earring box.
