This necklace is very rare and rather old. These Italian Venetian or Murano glass beads were made in the 1950-1960 era.

The unique beads are all hand wound beads in swirls of honey browns, deep browns, and white. You will not see any mold lines in these vintage Italian beads; you can clearly see on the ends of the beads the glass pulls from when the beads came of the glass makers rod.
 
The necklace has two bead shapes: long tear drop cylinders and small rounds.This necklace was all hand wired, a very time-consuming process, as each bead is individually looped on gold plated brass wire.
 
A nice long design that is one continuous loop with no clasp, the necklace is 47" or 119 cm long. The cylinder beads are 22 mm long and the rounds are 5 mm.

The entire necklace is in pristine clean well cared for condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no missing, chipped, or cracked beads. The gold-plated brass wire loops are polished and bright, but a few have an aged patina.
