From the 1950s, this very unique necklace is a marvelous 8 strand design in lemon-lime glass tube beads. Please take a second and realize the complexity of this handmade design.
Do you see the gold metal wire that goes through each and every glass tube bead? That was all done by hand, then each wire was bent in a loop on each end and one at a time, the wire loops were connected together. This is the meticulous manner is which almost all old vintage jewelry was made that makes it have great value. You don't see craftsmanship like this in new jewelry. The connectors from bead to bead are gold metal. Along the strands are faceted Austrian crystals in very light yellow that borders on clear in color.
The necklace has a fancy hidden box clasp, adorned with glass beads and one crystal strung on wire. The shortest strand with the clasp is 18" and the longest strand is 24". Each glass tube bead is 3/8" long x 1/8" wide.
The necklace is in pristine like new condition with no imperfections and appears to have never been worn. Perfectly clean and dazzling! Such a unique bright shade of yellow! The necklace is not signed.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
