These very unusual frosted pastel glass flower clip earrings were made in the 1950s. 

Trifari imported glass beads for some of their jewelry from Gripoix, France.  The glass is very soft looking as the beads are frosted translucent colors of light pink, light blue, light green, and light yellow. The glass beads sparkle as there are tiny crushed pieces of mica in the glass. The center bead is 10 mm and the surrounding beads are 8 mm.

The earrings are have slender lever style clips that are comfortable to wear. The beads are attached with flat brass head pins and the earrings are made of gold plated metal.  They earrings are 1" wide. The pair is in microscopically clean condition with no imperfections or signs of wear. The gold metal is perfect. The clips are not worn and in perfect working order. Both earrings are signed Crown Trifari.
