This very unusual flower pin was made in West Germany in the 1940's. The brooch is made of thick cast celluloid. It is a very unusual celluloid brooch as far as celluloid goes. It is a rare piece of signed celluloid jewelry. Virtually very little old celluloid jewelry was ever signed.
 
The hand painted flower and leaves are in excellent condition with no paint loss or lack of clear gloss shine. It is signed Made in W. Germany on the original fine working safety clasp. Very nice and clean and pristine condition. It measures 2" tall x 2 1/4" wide.
