This EAPG glass compote candy dish can also be used as a vanity apothecary jar for things like cotton balls, Q-tips, or small cosmetics.

The ornate depression glass pattern is a complex pleated medallion design with painted gold accents. It is not often a candy dish like this is found; it is not a common style and it was made in 1908 by New Martinsville Glass of West Virginia. The compote is a nice medium size that fits nicely in small spaces as it has a smaller footprint than most candy dishes.

It measures 7" tall x 4 1/2" wide or 18 cm x 12 cm. The entire compote is in pristine like new sparkling condition with no imperfections or flaws. There are no scratches, scuffs, chips, or cracks. No rim chips on the lid or the mouth. The compote is not signed.
