My name is Veronica McCullough. Im located in the mountains in Banner Elk, NC. I have been collecting, researching,and selling Antique and Vintage Designer Jewelry for 30+  years. I take great pride in shipping all orders in a timely fashion, typically 1 day, or at most 2 days from the order date.

All jewelry on this site is professionally cleaned under a magnifying glass with special tools and delicate cleaners to insure even the smallest particles of dirt, dust, residues, and grime are removed. All earrings are cleaned and sanitized with isopropyl alcohol and jewelry cleaner. Earring hooks, clips, and backs are sanitized or replaced if needed to insure that all earrings are free of grime and germs.

Great Vintage Jewelry will not be held liable for any shipments returned that are marked refused, undeliverable, or with import duties or taxes unpaid. No refund of any kind or instore credit shall be issued for orders that are refused or undeliverable. Shipping and insurance costs are not credited or refunded.

If an international package is returned and marked refused or undeliverable, it is the customers responsiblity to contact the shipper by email or phone within 60 days of the originial order date to arrange for redelivery of the order and to make payment for redelivery shipping costs; if the item was returned to us in good condition. If item(s) are returned in broken or bad condition, and insurance claim with our insurance carrier must first be filed. If Great Vintage Jewelry is not contacted within 60 days of the original order date by the consignee to arrange for redelivery, the order is considered void.

Customers are solely responsible for providing the correct shipping address information. Should an order be shipped to the wrong address because the customer entered the wrong shipping address information, Great Vintage Jewelry will not be held liable for any losses. Hopefully, the shipment will be returned to us but this is not guaranteed and can take up to 30 days. If the shipment is to be reshipped to the corrected address, customer will be responsible to pay re-shipping costs.


Credit Card Chargebacks : If you make an authorized purchase and do a chargeback for any reason, you will be charged a $30.00 administration fee. All returns and credits must be handled by contacting us, not your credit card company. This charge is not instituted by us. It is charged to us by your credit card company when a charge back is made.

1. Notify me by email or phone about returning an item AS SOON AS you receive the item and I will issue a Return Authorization Number to write on the outside of the parcel to be returned.NO EXCEPTIONS.

2. No unauthorized returns will be accepted. This return policy is necessary to discourage items from being used for special occasions and then returned when no longer needed and from buyers who attempt to return merchandise that is not mine.

3. ALL RETURNS MUST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM THE DATE YOU RECEIVED THE ITEM. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AFTER 7 BUSINESS DAYS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

4 .Returns must be shipped by USPS Priority Mail ONLY with full insurance and delivery confirmation. Do not use signature confirmation as weather and security gate conditions might prevent the package from being delivered.

5. The item(s) must be returned in exact same condition as sent to you with no adjustments or alterations, well packaged as it was shipped to you, and box shipped. There is a 15% restocking and account re-issue fee on all returns in perfect condition. All gift boxes must be returned. There is a $5.00 fee per jewelry box for unreturned jewelry boxes. If returned items are not well packaged - as they were shipped to you - and cleaning for smudges, lint, fingerprints or other imperfections is required, the restocking fee is 25%.  Shipping and insurance to and from recipient or shipper is not refundable.


* No refund of any kind or instore credit will be issued for jewelry that is broken, damaged, or altered in any way. All jewelry is black light marked and jewelry that is not mine will not be given any refund or credit.

* I will not be responsible for or warranty jewelry after 48 hours from arrival that is misplaced, lost, damaged, broken, or stolen, whether due to negligence on the customers part or not, for all jewelry regardless of age or condition.

* Every shipment contains an invoice. If you can not locate your invoice, you can log on to our web site and view your order history and tracking information at anytime.


Please note that when you place an order online on this web site, you are required to insert your initials in a mandatory field on the order form stating that you agree to the policies of this site.


Great Vintage Jewelry is not responsible to contact customer other than by email regarding items that have been returned.

Great Vintage Jewelry will not be held liable for any shipments returned that are marked refused or undeliverable. No refund of any kind and no in store credit shall be issued for orders that are refused or undeliverable and not returned to us.

All correspondence from me will be via email. Please do not expect a phone call notifying acceptance of the return or refund/in-store credit details. To Redeem Your In Store Credit :

After inspecting your return, you will receive an email promptly upon receipt stating that your store credit has been activated, which is good for 6 months from original purchase date.

On your new order, simply type your last name (in lower case letters) on the Check Out page in the Coupon/Gift Certificate field. Our system will automatically credit your new order. Or, you can call and place your order by phone and I will take care of the order process for you.

If you do not use the full amount of the credit on the first order, a second in store credit for the balance will be issued that is good for the remainder of the 6 month redemption period. A new in store credit for the balance will be issued, and the process to redeem is the same.

All in store credits expire 6 months from the original date of purchase and are not re-issueable.


NOTICE FOR RENTALS & OTHER NON-JEWELRY PURCHASES

If you use a credit card through our processing system for vacation rentals, equipment rentals, construction services, or other services from Morada Ridge Services, all charges are for work performed or goods purchased and are non-refundable.

All antique and vintage jewelry and home decor should NOT be expected to be perfect and some flaws or imperfections are typical of age and wear. Item measurements are estimations only and should NOT be considered to be exact. Jewelry items are measured at their longest and widest points. All items are pictured with a US quarter or a US dime for size relevancy. All jewelry has photos of the back side of the item as well.

Colors of jewelry metals, stones, gems, and pearls may vary according to your computer monitor and lighting conditions when the items are photographed. For this reason, it is important that you read the full description if exact color is a concern.

Please be advised ~ All antique and vintage jewelry should be worn, cared for and handled like you are caring for an elderly person. It will not withstand rigorous cleaning and rough handling. All jewelry items that have glue set rhinestones will become cloudy and fall out if you get the jewelry wet. Washing antique and vintage necklaces under running water can cause old cords to break. I will not be responsible for jewelry that is damaged due to improper care.

I will not be responsible for or warranty jewelry once in your possession that is misplaced, lost, damaged, altered, broken,or stolen whether due to negligence on the customers part or not, for all jewelry regardless of age or condition.

Please note that when you place an order online on this web site, you are required to insert your initials on the order form stating that you agree to the policies of this site, and you are required to agree to same when clicking on the order button.

Antique and Vintage Strung Jewelry Disclaimer :

If I determined that an antique or vintage strung jewelry item was not in good strong condition, then it has already been restrung on Acculon, or teflon coated wire. You will note the upgrade, free of charge, in the item description.

As all strung types of jewelry may have old cord or thread that is 40 years old or much older, I will not be liable for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other strung jewelry if the strands break. Old jewelry that is strung on cord or thread should be handled with great care and should not be pulled, yanked, or get wet. Old knots at finding joints can also come loose. These are conditions that cannot be foreseen.

If you purchase a strung necklace or bracelet that breaks within 2 weeks of receipt, I will restring the jewelry item and reship it at no cost to you except your cost of shipping the item to me. I do not restring or do other repairs for free after 2 weeks from the date of receipt.

I offer restringing services for your personal jewelry not purchased here.
You can make a special request for restringing by EMAIL .

In most cases, I restring using Acculon, which is Teflon coated wire that is the strongest money can buy and will last a lifetime or more.

ALL DAMAGE CLAIMS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY EMAIL or PHONE ( 828-297-6777)
WITHIN 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT OF SHIPMENT.

1.Sign and Include the Claim Form with your return.Click on this link to print out the claim form for lost or damaged merchandise.


2. The original item(s) must be return shipped with the original gift boxes.

3. The return shipment must be carefully packed and protected as it was shipped to you. (You do not have to use the original shipping box but if your items were box shipped, then they must be boxed shipped back.You must return all jewelry boxes.) All items must be original and in the original condition as was shipped to you.

4. The return shipment should be insured by you for your protection in the event your shipment is damaged or lost. If your return shipment is not insured, we will not be held liable for lost or damaged shipments. Insuring your shipment also gives you signature confirmation that you can verify on the USPS web site and know for certain if you shipment was or was not received by us.

Any items that are not reported as damaged or lost per the Insurance Claim section will not be eligible for a full instore credit or refund of any kind.

We will not accept or credit damaged items of a return shipment if prior notification is not given.
Please NOTIFY BY EMAIL HERE  immediately if your shipment has been damaged by the carrier.
