This is one of the earliest set of salt and pepper shakers that was ever made in the 1930s Japanese line of salt and pepper shakers. They were on the market and sold in the US as early as 1930, but the entire line of products wasn’t debuted until the worlds fair on 1934.

Both of these shakers are in excellent like new condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or flaws. One has the original cork and the other does not have a cork. One the back of one shaker is a 25 imprint in indelible ink. What is that ? That is the original price for the set or 25 cents.
