Vintage Hat Pin Big Regal Crystal Crown Stick Pin 1940s Jewelry
This crème de la crème crown pin is a vintage late 1940s regal creation.
The design is very large and prominent and the clear marquise Austrian crystals are very large as well. There perimeter arches are small clear chatons with a double row at the bottom and a star cluster at the top. The stick pin is made of silver rhodium metal and all of the crystals and rhinestones are prong set.
The pin is 3 1/2" or 8.8 cm long overall and the crown design is 1 1/2" tall x 1 3/4" wide or 3.8 cm x 4.4 cm. The marquise crystals are a whopping 16 mm long. You can get a better indication of the size by looking at the photo of the pin in my hand.
The pin is not signed but the superb quality old lead crystals indicates it may be an Eisenberg or Weiss piece. The most important factor about the condition of this piece is the clarity of the crystals and rhinestones.
You will be pleased to know that all of the crystals and rhinestones are in spectacular perfectly clear sparkling condition with no imperfections such as scratches, scuffs, or chips. The entire brooch is microscopically clean and there is not even any silver rhodium wear on the back or on the prong settings. No dirt or grime or anything that would deter the value here! The pin also has the original end cap closure.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
