Art Deco Earrings 1950s Clear Swarovki Crystal Hoops
Made in the 1950-1960 era, these Swarovski crystal hoop earrings are superb in quality and craftsmanship. They are far superior to any rhinestone hoop earrings made today.
The earrings are screw backs, on moveable crystal semi-hoop sliders. The earrings are made of silver pot metal and they are solid and durable. The crystals have spectacular brilliance and through pastel rainbow hues of light as they are 23% or more lead crystals from the Bohemia region. The tiny Swarovski crystals are channel set, down inside the hoops within the raised pot metal rims.
Unsigned, the hoops are about the size of a US silver dollar, or 1 1/4" or 3.2 cm wide. With the screw back findings, they hang down 1 1/2" or 3.8 cm long.
Both earrings are microscopically clean and pristine. All of the crystals are original, present, and brilliant with no cloudiness or other imperfections. The silver pot metal is clean and the backs have no imperfections such as scratches, wear, or dings. The silver rhodium screw backs are in pristine like new condition.
