The vase was made by Barbour Bros in the 1880-1890 era. It is not signed but the design cannot be mistake.
It has the original antique patina that looks like pewter but it is actually silver nickel metal over copper. This intricate old repousse craftsmanship features Dutch scenery over the entire piece including the base. The vase has 6 sides or panels of dutch boys and girls, windmills, Holland landscape scenery, and Victorian decor. It is an impressive heavy piece that weighs 1 lb and 5 oz.
The vase is 9" tall x 3 3/4" wide at the base. The opening at the top of the vase from lip to lip is 2 3/4wide. The entire vase is in pristine perfect condition with no dents, dings, cracks, scratches or other imperfections. This inside is clean as well.
