The brooch invokes the idea childhood fun playing with Jacks. Most of us who remember Jacks were pretty good at the game; a past time that has fallen by the wayside in today's age of video and computer games. It is nostalgic and most people under 40 have no idea what it is. It is a brooch that Im sure Madeline Albright would wear to a college lecture. I guess you would have to read her book " Read My Pins" to get that pun.
The stacked cluster of 4 silver rhodium jacks also has a clear Lucite ball with silver confetti inside.
The brooch is medium in size at about 1 7/8" tall x 2" wide or 47 mm x 50mm. The confetti Lucite ball is 18 mm. The entire brooch is in pristine microscopically clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The back has the Kirk's Folly cartouche and the original fine working safety clasp.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
