Googly eye jewelry was a cool kids thing in the 1960s that has actually become a collector's niche today. Mouse pins were a hit because of the Tom & Jerry cartoon, and Mickey Mouse.
This signed Gerry's mouse pin that dates from the late 1950s or early 1960s. The pin is pot metal with an enamel finish that is pastel rainbow pearl paint. The googly eyes are plastic and the ears have red enamel. The pin is in very fine condition for age, but not perfect. The plastic eyes are a little cloudy from age and there is some very light enamel wear in tiny specks, but no wear or loss of shine on the front of the pin. The pin has the original fine working safety clasp. This silly little critter is just 1 1/2" tall.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
