These intriguing earrings are a rather rare find! They date from the late 1960s or early 1970s and are signed Boucher.
From the Mid-Century Modern Era, these long rectangular dangles are polished gold metal with black, white, and pale-yellow enamel inlay in geometric patterns. The earrings are clips with large, polished gold ball posts.
The clips are slender lever styles that are comfortable to wear and the earrings are not heavy. The rectangles are 1 7/8" long x 1/2" wide. Overall, the earrings are 2 1/2" long.
Both earrings are in excellent condition and are perfectly clean. Under serious close inspection, you may see a couple of tiny pin pricks in the enamel, hardly worth noting. Both are signed Boucher with the design number 0835. (These earrings can easily be converted to pierced earrings.)
