Made in the late 1950s, this fascinating, unusual, alive and glowing ring features a large round Opalescent glass dome.
This Opalescent glass has an admirable glowing quality and appears to light up from within.
Actually, this glass dome glows more that real Opals! You can see all sorts of colors in the glass such as blue, green, gold, pink, and orange.
The Opal dome is 5/8" or 15 mm wide and is framed with smaller matching faceted Opalescent chatons.
The ring is a thickly cast brass with and antiqued gold finish. The shank and the ring band are thick and durable as well.
The ring is not signed however the setting is like many I have seen that were made in West Germany.
The face of the ring is rather large at 7/8" or 23 mm wide.
The ring is a fixed size 7 however there are adjustable bands inside so the ring can easily be made smaller.
It is obvious that this ring has never been worn and the entire ring is in pristine microscopically clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws.
There is no metal wear anywhere and the big Opal dome is 100% perfect with no scratches, scuffs, or chips.
All of the smaller chatons are original, present, and perfect as well.
