This uncommon 1970-1980 Era Art Deco style necklace is signed by famous jewelry designer Karla Jordan. It is one of her finest pieces as it is a very modern design and is made of carved and polished solid Hematite.
The pyramid shapes are large chunky Hematite pieces that are polished on the tops and left natural on the bottoms. The long herringbone beads and the 8 mm round beads are polished Hematite as well. The silver spacer beads are sterling siler or sterling plated.
The necklace is a long choker style and measures 20" long, but the center pendant hangs down another 2 1/2" to 3". The large pyramid is 1 3/4" wide and the smaller pyramids are 1 1/2" wide. The necklace has the original Karla Jordan hang tag as in excellent condition with only microscopic hints of wear. The entire piece is exceptionally clean as well.
