Do you want to stump your friends? No one will have a clue WHAT these earrings are! I dont know what Tortolani was thinking when they made them. Are they fish hooks or funky paisley shapes? That is the whole point really. Tortolani was well known for making some very off the wall jewelry. Only a vintage jewelry collector could spot them as Tortolani designer made!

These very unique 1970s gold nugget tear drop clip earrings are designer signed Tortolani. The earrings have a satin gold nugget texture with raised polished gold hooks or swirls.

They have never been worn and have the original gold foil Tortolani signed hang tag. The back of the hang tag reads, "Made in California". With the original hang tag, these earrings are an exceptional collector's pair. I cant give you an exact date when the earrings were made but it was in the 1970s.

Like the cactus and the zodiac designs they made, teardrop or paisley shapes were also a signature of the Tortolani style.

The earrings are clips and measure 1 1/4" long x 3/4" wide, or 3 cm x 1.9 cm. Both earrings are in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or signs of wear: they look new just like the day they were made and have obviously never been worn.
