Description
A worldwide wave of Egyptian Revival jewelry production was sparked in the 1970s by the museum tours of King Tuts Tomb.
This well-designed pharaoh pin is a heavy substantial solid brass piece with an antique finish. The brooch is not signed but it was sold at museums during the King Tut tour in the 1970s. This is a retired 1970s design and was not sold in museums during the 2006 King Tut tour. Although a lot of Egyptian revival jewelry was sold at museums in the 1970s during the tour, they are almost impossible to find today.
The brooch is in perfect pristine condition with no signs of wear or other imperfections. It is a medium to large size that measures about 2" tall x 1 3/4" wide and the original fine working safety clasp is in place.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
*You can add a gold brooch slider to convert this pin to a pendant by checking the option box.
