This handmade Black Lip Mother of Pearl necklace is a modern design from the 1970s. The necklace features 7 hand cut triangles of polished shells in darker shades of black, brown, and silver grey. The necklace is strung on black leather cord and has a hand cut Mother of Pearl button on the end, which inserts into a loop on the other side.

The largest triangular shell is 2" wide x 2" tall. The necklace is 22" long but it can be made shorter by tying another loop in the leather. This necklace is in pristine like new condition and appears to have never seen the light of day!

Black Lip Mother of Pearl is NOT common to find, especially large carved shell pieces!
