Description
I have owned this pin since the early 1960's. For some unknown reason, my grandmother favored little pins with pastel rhinestones to give to me. I guess she thought these colors were suitable for a young girl, and I believe pieces like this pin were made with young girls in mind. Giving any young girl a crown tells her she is a princess in the eyes of the giver!
This petite crown pin is silver tone metal and is outlined in small seed pearls. The crown in covered in tiny pink and emerald rhinestones with the center highlighted by two large pink chatons and one emerald marquise. I have kept this piece safely tucked away for about 40 years now, and it has rarely been worn. All of the original rhinestones and pearls are present and in great shape. There is no wear to the silver tone metal on the front, sides or back.
The pin is 1" tall x 1 1/8" wide and is not signed. It has the original fine working old style C clasp on the back. I have kept this piece safely tucked away and it has rarely been worn. All of the original rhinestones and pearls are present and in great shape. There is no wear to the silver tone metal on the front, sides or back.
Comes gift wrapped and shipped in a new presentation jewelry box.
* You can add a silver brooch slider to convert this pin to a pendant by checking the option box.
