This very unique and uncommon to find vintage flower pin was made in Italy in the 1955-1965 era. This is vintage Italian Lucite, which was the wildest Lucite the world has ever seen. The Italians had a knack for creating fascinating Lucite as they applied centuries of glass making techniques to the process.

The brooch has tubular Lucite petals with pulled canes of white, clear, light pink, and rose pink. The layered design is vibrant and the petals have the look of old fashioned hard candy. The beads are attached to a gold metal filigree back and gold metal leaves are placed between each Lucite petal. The brooch is not signed however I can assure you this is vintage Italian Lucite because no other country made Lucite like this. The married earrings are hot pink plastic hoops. They are vintage 1970's and were originally clips but have been converted to pierced.

Medium in size, the brooch is 2 1/4" or 57 mm wide. The earrings are 2" or 50 mm long. The set is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. The pin has the original fine working safety clasp and the ear studs on the earrings are new and never worn.
