This gold wreath brooch dates from the late 1950s and is designer signed BSK. The double row of twisted gold ribbons has a glistening satin yellow-gold etched finish. The contrasting ribbon edges are polished gold metal. Around the wreath are 8 small flowers made of cranberry red and clear tiny rhinestone insets. This brooch was most likely made to be worn around the holidays, but it could be worn any time of the year.
It is a medium design that measures 1 1/2" wide. The entire piece is in excellent condition with no signs of wear or loss of gold. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and is signed BSK with copyright.
