Description

Made in the mid to late 1950s, this bumble bee pin is an old uncommon design. The bee is made of textured silver metal with 3 pearls recessed between the wings and vibrant blue pastes outside the wings. The blue stones are not rhinestones; they are old glass pastes.

Medium petite in size, the bee is 1 1/4" long x 1" wide or 31 mm x 25 mm. The entire pin is in super pristine clean condition with no imperfections or flaws. All of the blue pastes are original and present and the pearls are in very nice lustrous condition with only microscopic hints of wear. The back has the original fine working safety clasp and the pin is not signed.
