Made in the 1950s, this very unique beetle brooch has remarkable detail and craftsmanship known as Egyptian Revival.

The beetle is made of polished gold metal with a lattice design on the body. The body is paved with extremely small and tightly set clear rhinestone chatons that creates a diamond chip look all over the body. The beetle has a double row of tiny clear rhinestones for a collar and green rhinestone eyes. This pin is best worn with other small insect or bird pins as it is scatter pin style.

Petite in size, it measures 1 3/8" tall 3/4" wide or 3.7 cm x 1.8 cm. The entire pin is in pristine clean like new condition with no metal wear or other imperfections. All of the rhinestones are original, present, and sparkling clear. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
