A pair of Italian earrings like these proves that in the 1940s Italian jewelry designers made some of the worlds most amazing earrings!

The Moretti flower cane glass beads on these earrings are all different as each one was hand made. These colorful beads are also called wedding cake beads and have gold aventurine applied swirls. The earrings are clips, and they are tight dangling clusters with small faux pearls, brass wires, and brass bell caps. Look at the back of the earrings and you can see the ornate filigree settings that all of the beads and pearls are tightly wired to.

The earrings measure 1 1/2" long x 1 1/4" wide. These earrings are in fabulous condition for age and I sincerely doubt they have ever been worn. The beads are all perfect and they are perfectly clean. The clips are like like new and strong with tight snap. If you look at the pearls under serious close inspection and high magnification, you might find a couple that have some light wear, where the pearls meet the filigree caps.
