Description

One of my favorite styles of vintage ceramics to collect are old Japanese Majolica wares.

Made in the 1930s, this charming angel vase is finished in a cream glaze with nutmeg brown and dark green accents. The vase has three scene panels, each of flying angels and laurel wreaths, and a swag panel around the bottom. The vase also has three handles.

The vase is medium in size at 5" tall x 3 1/2" wide at the middle. The entire vase is in great condition with no scratches, scuffs, chips, cracks, or repairs. The glazes are glossy and perfect as well. If you look closely at the glaze you can see some very fine microscopic crazing lines from age. The bottom of the vase is signed Made in Japan.
