This large and festive vintage autumn brooch was made by the 1928 Jewelry Co. The brooch is not signed but the back of the brooch is finished in embossed swirl patterns; a finish pattern that was only made by the 1928 Jewelry Co. This design was most likely made in the 1970s.

The brooch is made of antiqued gold metal with acorn leaves, oak leaves, maple leaves, acorns and pine cones. The glass cabs are poured or marbled glass. The glass accents are fall fruit colors. The large red glass cab is marbled and the yellow and green oval cabs are semi-translucent.

Large in size, the brooch is 2 3/4" or 70 mm wide. The red glass cab is 1" or 26 mm long. You can get a better indication of the size by viewing the photo of the brooch in my hand. The entire brooch is in pristine clean like new condition with no imperfections or flaws. There is no gold wear or loss of gold finish. All of the cabs are perfect with no scratches or scuffs. The back has the original fine working safety clasp.
