Do You Buy vintage or antique jewelry ?
Sorry I do not buy jewelry. 


Why have I not received a reply email or reply to my phone call ?

I will respond to all orders and similar inquiries immediately by email. If you sent an email and did not receive a reply, please check your spam or junk email box.

If you are expecting an email confirmation of your order and cannot locate the email, login to our website and check your order history. In your order history you will find the method of shipping, the date the order was shipped, and the tracking number.


What methods of payments do you accept ?

We accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and Paypal.

1. Place your order online and from your shopping cart pay with any major credit card or Paypal instantly.

2. Place an order by phone at 828-773-4053 and pay with a major credit card.

I cannot accept payments by mail including money orders, personal checks, or cash.


Is This Website Secure and What is Your Privacy Policy?

Great Vintage Jewelry is a 100% secure shopping site and is triple layered with the latest security features and trusted shopping carts.
Your personal information will never be shared with anyone. I also do not send spam emails. I send emails on occasion if there is a sale.


My Order was Cancelled ?

If you did not make a Paypal payment within 24 hours of placing the order, all unpaid Paypal orders are cancelled in 24 hours.

I made a payment, the payment was refunded, and the order was cancelled ?

The shipping address on your order must match the confirmed address on your Paypal account. Or, if paying with a major credit card on this site, your shipping address must match your confirmed billing address on your credit card.


How can I save items to view later ?

You can easily put items on your wish list that will be saved for future viewing. Items in your shopping cart will also be saved if you

log out.  I can view items on your wish list but not in your shopping cart.  If you want to discuss with me on the phone about items you are interested in,  save them to your wish list and we can both see the item numbers.


If I put items on my Wish List, can other customers buy them?

Yes. Only if you put items in your shopping cart and checkout can you secure a purchase.


Can I order more than one of the same item ?

No, all items are one of a kind and part of a 40 year personal collection and cannot be re-ordered.


How fast will my order be shipped?

I reply promptly to all orders (usually not longer than a few hours) and you will receive an email copy of your order. An
additional shipping confirmation email with the shipping date and the tracking number will also be sent to you. All orders within 48
business hours, holiday permitting. Shipping rarely exceeds 4 business days from order date.  


What shipping carriers do you use ?

All orders are shipped USPS mail by Priority Mail and Express Mail services.
All orders are shipped USPS Prioirty Mail by default. If you want Express Mail, please CALL or TEXT me after you place an order at 828-773-4053. With your shipping information I can give yo ua quote on the additional charge for Express Mail and then process payment from you.


Will I have to sign for the package ?

All orders under $200 are shipped with delivery confirmation.

All orders $200  or more are shipped with signature confirmation.
 


Do you ship internationally ?  
 
Yes, I ship to most countries worldwide. If you placed an order an you are outside the US 50 states or Puerto Rico, you will be contacted by email or phone to discuss what shipping options are available to you and what the additional cost will be.

Can I put a HOLD on a jewelry item ?

No, sorry, but 99% of the jewelry on this site is one of a kind and it is first come, first serve.


Can I purchase jewelry on Lay-Away ?

Please use the Pay Pal Pay Later Option for Lay-Away


Will my order be gift wrapped ?

All orders are luxury gift wrapped with no request needed. High end jewelry is shipped in luxury presentation boxes.


Do you offer Special Occasion Gift Cards ?

Yes, I have a large selection of special occasion gift cards available upon checkout. I will write a short custom message for you

in lovely hand writing.   


Will there be an invoice in the shipment ?

Yes, every invoice will contain an invoice. Item photos and descriptions are not printed on invoices.

If you order is a gift sent to another person, a copy of the item description without pricing is included.


Will there be a copy of the item description with my order ?
 

No, however we do offer to print it out for you and enclose it with the order upon request. You can submit the request when you
checkout by entering text in the comments section on the checkout form.


How do I return and item ?  

I accept returns only if the item was signficantly not as described. Buyer is responsible to pay return shipping and insurance. There is a 25% return fee to cover my costs of shipping, insurance, and restocking that applies to both refunds or in store credits. All returns must be reported within 48 hrs of receiving the shipment per the tracking and delivery info. You may email, call or text. This information is on invoice in each shipment.


If the item was damaged during shipping, it does not need to be returned.  Report it within 48 hrs of delivery. Take good clear photos of the damaged item and all damage to the packaging. An insurance claim will be filed on your behalf for full reimbursement of the item. You may email, call or text to report the issue. This information is on invoice in each shipment.
 


Do you have more than one photo of each jewelry item ?

Every item has multiple photos, between 3 and 8 per item.

Can you convert clip earrings to pierced, or vise versa ?

Yes. If the earrings can be converted, it will be noted in the listing and listed in both the clip and pierced earring categories.


Can you repair or recondition antique and vintage costume jewelry that I own?

You can call, email, or text. In most cases,  YES  I do custom cleaning, metal and enamel restoration, rhinestone replacement, gold fluxing, findings repair or replacement, and in some cases, bead replacement and bead repair. It is difficult to give you an exact cost for repair until I see photos of the jewelry to determine if the necessary items are in stock or need to be ordered. We can give a basic estimate if you email good, large, clear photos of the jewelry repairs needed. Most repairs typically take 1-2 weeks.

Please email about your needs prior to shipping any jewelry for repair. I do not offer repair services near or around holidays such as Valentines Day, Mothers Day, Christmas, or New Years.
