I take great pride in shipping all orders in a timely fashion, typically 1 day, or at most, 2 days from the order date. If you place an order on Friday after 11 am EST, it will be shipped on Monday. In the winter, severe weather issues can be a factor but your order will be shipped ASAP. I am on top of a 6000 ft mountain and the road down hill is essentially a goat path. The post office is down the mountain. I have three 4wd vehicles and I WILL get down the mountain, come hell or high water, to get your order to you!
Customers are solely responsible for providing the correct shipping address information. Should an order be shipped to the wrong address because the customer entered the wrong shipping address information, Great Vintage Jewelry will not be held liable for any losses. Hopefully, the shipment will be returned to us but this is not guaranteed and can take up to 30 days. If the shipment is to be reshipped to the corrected address, customer will be responsible to pay re-shipping costs.
If your international shipment is determined undeliverable or is returned to us in the original Express Mail package, there is a 50% restocking and relisting fee of the jewelry order total. Shipping fees are not refundable. We will contact you by email immediately upon receipt to verify that we have received your undeliverable package. If we do not hear from you withing 15 days, the shipment will be deemed undeliverable and will not be re-shipped.
An in store credit will be issued for 50 % of the original jewelry total that is good for one year.

Great Vintage Jewelry is not responsible to credit funds or issue credits of any kind or contact any customer regarding items that have been returned without an approved authorization (RA#). It is the customer's sole responsibility to pay for all shipping costs.
If you received and item that was damaged or broken during shipping, please jump down to Insurance Claims. We do not issue instore credits for items that were damaged during shipping.
We do not issue instore credits or refunds for any jewelry that has been damaged,altered, or improperly cleaned or repaired by customer. We will not be responsible for or warranty jewelry after 48 hours from arrival that is misplaced, lost, damaged, broken, or stolen whether due to negligence on the customers part or not, for all jewelry regardless of age or condition.
Every shipment contains an invoice. If you can not locate your invoice, you can log on to our web site and view your order history at anytime.

All eligible returns received in the same excellent condition as they were shipped will receive an immediate full instore credit for the full purchase price of all items returned.
We do not issue refunds of any kind. Credits are not given for the cost of shipping and insurance. No credits will be given for items that are returned that are no ours. In store credits are valid for one year from the issue date, or the date the return was received.
We reserve the right to charge a 15% reconditioning fee of the purchase price on any returns of jewelry that have fingerprints with residues or jewelry that is not clean as it was shipped, and needs cleaning or polishing.
Should an item be returned that was damaged by the customer, we reserve the right to refuse credit and reship the item back to customer at customers expense. If the damaged item can be repaired or restored, we reserve the right to charge a fee for repair or restoration and after notifying customer, the fee would be deducted from credit issued.
Restoration and repair fees start at $45.00. The cost of restoration or repair shall never exceed the cost of the item.
We do not give credit for shipping and insurance costs incurred by customer returns and we do not give credit for shipping or insurance costs that were previously billed.
If you return an item, the replacement order and all subsequent replacement orders will incur a $ 4.50 charge for USPS 1st Class shipping or $6.75 to $8.50 for Priority Shipping within the US. (International costs may be more.)
All items are black light marked and substitution returns will not be credited, refunded,
or return shipped.

The return shipment must be carefully packed and protected as it was shipped to you.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS PADDING BELOW AND ON TOP OF THE JEWELRY INSIDE THE JEWELRY BOX AS IT WAS SHIPPED TO YOU. All items must be original and in the original condition as was shipped to you.
All returns must be post marked a maximum of 7 days from the date of acceptance per USPS tracking information, viewable in your order history on our web site. Items returned after this time frame or without authorization will not receive an in store credit or refund of any kind and the item will not be return shipped unless payment for return shipping is made. All unauthorized returns and returns past the expiration return time will not be accepted.
3. Clearly mark the outside of the return package with your Return Authorization #.
RA #'s are valid ONLY for 7 days from the arrival date.
4. Do not use signature confirmation on your return.
Please use delivery confirmation, the USPS green form.
5. The return shipment should be insured by you for your protection in the event your shipment is damaged or lost. If your return shipment is not insured, we will not be held liable for lost or damaged shipments. Insuring your shipment also gives you signature confirmation that you can verify on the USPS web site.
International Returns : Should be shipped insured by you, or at least with some form of delivery confirmation for your protection. We will not be liable for damaged or lost shipments said to be returned from international destinations. If your package is not received by us within 60 days of the original purchase date, the shipment will be considered lost and no instore credit or refund of any kind will be issued.
6. As soon as your return shipment is received, a full in store credit will be issued. You will be notified by email how to redeem your credit. If you dont receive the email, simply use your last name (in lower case) in the Coupon Field when placing your next order. Our automated system will take your credit off your new order. In store credits are valid one year from the original order date.

All replacement orders will incur applicable shipping and insurance costs. Antique and Vintage Strung Jewelry Disclaimer :
If I determined that an antique or vintage strung jewelry item was not in good strong condition, then it has already been restrung on Acculon, or teflon coated wire. You will note the upgrade, free of charge, in the item description.
As all strung types of jewelry may have old cord or thread that is 40 years old or much older, I will not be liable for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other strung jewelry if the strands break. Old jewelry that is strung on cord or thread should be handled with great care and should not be pulled or yanked. Old knots at finding joints can also come loose. These are conditions that cannot be foreseen.
I do not restring jewelry free of charge and I offer restringing services.
You can make a special request for restringing by EMAIL .
In most cases, I restring using Acculon, which is Teflon coated wire that is the strongest money can buy and will last a lifetime or more.
