When you log in to your account here on this site, you can view your Wish List, your Order History, and special notes attached to your account. You can also edit your account information and change your password if desired. In your order history, please note that at the bottom of each order you can view the shipping/tracking information and special notes to your account. If you have contacted us by email regarding an order issue or a question about an item, please know that we respond by email within 24 hours to all email inquires. If you did not receive a reply, please check you spam or junk email box. If we reply to an email inquiry and receive no response, we will try to call you at the phone number provided on your account. We will leave a message if there is no answer. If you are expecting a response and we cannot reach you by email or phone, please log in to your account and view the order in question. Shipping and Payment

Great Vintage Jewelry accepts MC, VISA, Discover and PayPal. Bank to bank wire transfer is available for large orders. All orders are shipped promptly upon receipt of cleared payment.  If an order is placed online with Paypal and the Paypal payment is not made within 24 hours, the order will be cancelled.      DOMESTIC SHIPPING in the US USPS 1st Class Mail with full insurance and delivery confirmation for US orders under $70 is $4.50, or $6.75 for Priority Mail. For orders $70 or more, Priority Mail with full insurance and delivery confirmation is $8.50.  USPS Overnite Express is $23.50 or $27.50 per order. All shipments are insured by our private insurer  www.shipsurance.com  We do not charge a handling fee and gift wrapping is free.  All orders are box shipped.  INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - Countries outside the US ALL INTERNATIONAL ORDERS ARE SHIPPED BY USPS EXPRESS MAIL ONLY.  DELIVERY IS GUARANTEED. Express Mail for 1-2 small items with tracking and insurance is $ 34.00.  Express Mail for 3-4 small items with tracking and insurance is $ 39.00.    Express Mail for 5-8 small items with tracking and insurance is $ 49.00.    We do not ship international orders by Air Mail or Priority Mail and only Express Mail is insurable and has a tracking number. If you MUST have an order shipped by Air Mail or International Priority Mail, the order must be paid in advance by postal money order. Postal money orders only- no bank cheques or bank money orders. All shipments are insured by our private insurer  www.shipsurance.com  We do not charge a handling fee and gift wrapping is free.  All orders are box shipped.    IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO RETURN AN ITEM, YOU MUST EMAIL OR CALL WITHIN 48 HOURS OF ARRIVAL TO FILE A RETURN CLAIM. NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL RETURNS MOST BE POSTMARKED WITHIN 7 DAYS FROM THE ARRIVAL DATE, PER USPS TRACKING INFO IN YOUR ORDER HISTORY. I take great pride in shipping all orders in a timely fashion, typically 1 day, or at most, 2 days from the order date. If you place an order on Friday after 11 am EST, it will be shipped on Monday. In the winter, severe weather issues can be a factor but your order will be shipped ASAP. I am on top of a 6000 ft mountain and the road down hill is essentially a goat path. The post office is down the mountain. I have three 4wd vehicles and I WILL get down the mountain, come hell or high water, to get your order to you! Customers are solely responsible for providing the correct shipping address information. Should an order be shipped to the wrong address because the customer entered the wrong shipping address information, Great Vintage Jewelry will not be held liable for any losses. Hopefully, the shipment will be returned to us but this is not guaranteed and can take up to 30 days. If the shipment is to be reshipped to the corrected address, customer will be responsible to pay re-shipping costs. If your international shipment is determined undeliverable or is returned to us in the original Express Mail package, there is a 50% restocking and relisting fee of the jewelry order total. Shipping fees are not refundable. We will contact you by email immediately upon receipt to verify that we have received your undeliverable package. If we do not hear from you withing 15 days, the shipment will be deemed undeliverable and will not be re-shipped. An in store credit will be issued for 50 % of the original jewelry total that is good for one year.

All USPS post offices are open on Saturday, usually until 11 am or noon. Return authorization - *All Items must have a valid RA# before being returned. Return Authorization numbers must appear on the outside of the return package. RA #'s are valid for 7 days after the day the package was received by customer. Please return jewelry in all gift boxes or bags that were shipped to you. It is the customer's sole responsibility to pay for all shipping costs.  If you received and item that was damaged or broken during shipping, please jump down to Insurance Claims. We do not issue instore credits for items that were damaged during shipping. We do not issue instore credits or refunds for any jewelry that has been damaged,altered, or improperly cleaned or repaired by customer. We will not be responsible for or warranty jewelry after 48 hours from arrival that is misplaced, lost, damaged, broken, or stolen whether due to negligence on the customers part or not, for all jewelry regardless of age or condition. Every shipment contains an invoice. If you can not locate your invoice, you can log on to our web site and view your order history at anytime. All eligible returns received in the same excellent condition as they were shipped will receive an immediate full instore credit for the full purchase price of all items returned. We do not issue refunds of any kind. Credits are not given for the cost of shipping and insurance. No credits will be given for items that are returned that are no ours. In store credits are valid for one year from the issue date, or the date the return was received. We reserve the right to charge a 15% reconditioning fee of the purchase price on any returns of jewelry that have fingerprints with residues or jewelry that is not clean as it was shipped, and needs cleaning or polishing. Should an item be returned that was damaged by the customer, we reserve the right to refuse credit and reship the item back to customer at customers expense. If the damaged item can be repaired or restored, we reserve the right to charge a fee for repair or restoration and after notifying customer, the fee would be deducted from credit issued. Restoration and repair fees start at $45.00. The cost of restoration or repair shall never exceed the cost of the item.   We do not give credit for shipping and insurance costs incurred by customer returns and we do not give credit for shipping or insurance costs that were previously billed. If you return an item, the replacement order and all subsequent replacement orders will incur a $ 4.50 charge for USPS 1st Class shipping or $6.75 to $8.50 for Priority Shipping within the US. (International costs may be more.) All items are black light marked and substitution returns will not be credited, refunded, or return shipped.

The original item(s) must be return shipped with the original gift boxes and/or bags and if the item was box shipped to you (a jewelry box inside a box) it must be box shipped on return. (You do not have to use the original shipping box but you must return the jewelry boxes.)     The return shipment must be carefully packed and protected as it was shipped to you. PLEASE MAKE SURE THERE IS PADDING BELOW AND ON TOP OF THE JEWELRY INSIDE THE JEWELRY BOX AS IT WAS SHIPPED TO YOU. All items must be original and in the original condition as was shipped to you.       All returns must be post marked a maximum of 7 days from the date of acceptance per USPS tracking information, viewable in your order history on our web site. Items returned after this time frame or without authorization will not receive an in store credit or refund of any kind and the item will not be return shipped unless payment for return shipping is made. All unauthorized returns and returns past the expiration return time will not be accepted. 3. Clearly mark the outside of the return package with your Return Authorization #.       RA #'s are valid ONLY for 7 days from the arrival date.  4. Do not use signature confirmation on your return.      Please use delivery confirmation, the USPS green form.  5. The return shipment should be insured by you for your protection in the event your shipment is damaged or lost. If your return shipment is not insured, we will not be held liable for lost or damaged shipments. Insuring your shipment also gives you signature confirmation that you can verify on the USPS web site.     International Returns :  Should be shipped insured by you, or at least with some form of delivery confirmation for your protection. We will not be liable for damaged or lost shipments said to be returned from international destinations. If your package is not received by us within 60 days of the original purchase date, the shipment will be considered lost and no instore credit or refund of any kind will be issued.     6. As soon as your return shipment is received, a full in store credit will be issued. You will be notified by email how to redeem your credit. If you dont receive the email, simply use your last name (in lower case) in the Coupon Field when placing your next order. Our automated system will take your credit off your new order. In store credits are valid one year from the original order date. We do not give credit for shipping and insurance costs incurred by you and we do not give credit for shipping or insurance costs that were previously billed. All replacement orders will incur applicable shipping and insurance costs. The replacement order and all subsequent replacement orders will incur a $ 4.50 charge for USPS 1st class or $ 6.75 to 8.50 for USPS Priority.  Please note that when you place an order online on this web site, you are required to insert your initials in a mandatory field on the order form stating that you agree to the policies of this site.

All jewelry items on this site are antique or vintage and are unique, one of a kind items to this site. All jewelry items have many large clear photos and are described in great detail. All antique and vintage jewelry should NOT be expected to be perfect and some flaws or imperfections are typical of age and wear. Item measurements are estimations only and should NOT be considered to be exact. Jewelry items are measured at their longest and widest points. All items are pictured with a US quarter or a US dime for size relevancy. All jewelry has photos of the back side of the item as well.  Please be advised ~ All antique and vintage jewelry should be worn, cared for and handled like you are caring for an old person. It will not withstand rigorous cleaning and rough handling.   I will not be responsible for or warranty jewelry once in your possession that is misplaced, lost, damaged, altered, broken,or stolen whether due to negligence on the customers part or not, for all jewelry regardless of age or condition. Antique and Vintage Strung Jewelry Disclaimer : If I determined that an antique or vintage strung jewelry item was not in good strong condition, then it has already been restrung on Acculon, or teflon coated wire. You will note the upgrade, free of charge, in the item description. As all strung types of jewelry may have old cord or thread that is 40 years old or much older, I will not be liable for necklaces, bracelets, earrings, or other strung jewelry if the strands break. Old jewelry that is strung on cord or thread should be handled with great care and should not be pulled or yanked. Old knots at finding joints can also come loose. These are conditions that cannot be foreseen. I do not restring jewelry free of charge and I offer restringing services. You can make a special request for restringing by EMAIL .    In most cases, I restring using Acculon, which is Teflon coated wire that is the strongest money can buy and will last a lifetime or more.
